There are are’s tha you can have access to before the race’s. as for trying to watch a race from there, you’ll miss more than you’ll see. all the track’s have juge screen’s so that people in the stand’s can see all the action. staying in the infiled you won’t see much during the race itself.

Some tracks have an infield pass or infield tickets.These are avai.lable to the public.Now in the garage area good luck unless you have a connection with a racing team or their sponsor.

There is in-field camping for the average fan. But you’d better call the track that you’re going to if you want a spot, that is if they’re not all gone by now. Enjoy the race.

Your best bet is to call the track and see what packages they have for sale.
A general answer: It depends alot on which track you go to. Bristol for instance has no infeild access for fans. Where as Tallageda has miles of infield access.
Lately, most of the infield access is reserved for camping. Tracks that have infield camping are usually RESERVED ONLY. Some tracks DO have unsold camping for the race weekend.
You WILL have to have a pass to get into the infield, regardless of which track. AND regardless of what ACTIVITY you plan on doing in the infield.
INFIELD Passes (typical): Camping, Race Day (Open )Seating, Garage, Pit Row (cold), Pit Row (hot), Press, ETC.
I’m assumming your really asking about getting on pit row, the garage and maybe getting some autographs and stuff. These kinds of passes are not usually for sale to the general public. If your lucky enough to do business with the local distributor of a manufacturer that sponsors a car (even an associate sponsor), then I would get your passes from them (local). Whatever they happen to have pass wise. They may have Hospitaility Tent passes, which are really cool.
Passes are hard to come by as everybody who went to races in previous years, wants them for this year.
Since you have never been to a race I will offer some words of advice, buy the local paper each day, it has all the info. you need. some Drivers will be availbable locally in weird places for autographs. usually on thurs and friday. Sat and Sunday are WORK DAYS. If you want to see a favorite driver, join their fan club, they will have an appearance schedule for your driver available
PArking and race day traffic. YOu have NEVER been in a traffic jam like a NASCAR race. Yes it is better that in previous years. yes it is still bad. on thursday and friday you will have an easy time getting in and out. It will lull you into thinking traffic is not that bad. Then you’ll sleep in Saturday morning and go out to the track at a resonable 10 oclock with a 3 oclock green flag time. boy did you just get whacked!!! hahah a
Camp at the track or go at 6 am on race day.
